Can any body tell me the simplest way of communicating via RF.
Suppose if I am to build a RF remote control and I want to transmit 8 bits using a micro controller, Similarly receive them on the receiving end. What is the best thing to use.

Consider a range of 20m

Check my PIC tutorials which do what you want!.

You could also use Holtek pre-programmed controllers to do a similar job.

i am actually asking which device to use for transmitting digital data. I know that behind the scene the microcontroller/Pic is responsible for controlling and etc

dont worry about regulations in my country

Countries that don't worry about regulations usually have people who come and shoot you when you break them!

just grab a pair of ISM band modems off the intertubes, and plug 'em into the respective serial ports of your devices.

Maxstream makes several real nice plug and play modems.
