Hi, new here, and first post!

I am making a model rocket launch control box for my son, it consists of a master arm switch, a ready light and a launch button. Concept is easy for me to understand except for one thing. I am trying to ignite the fuse with a 9 volt battery but it will not ignite. I hooked up 3 AAA batteries and tried to ignite it and it worked. Now my question is why won't it work with the 9 volt battery?

Here are some specs on the switches:
1. Master arm switch: Contacts rated 6a at 125vac, 3a at 250vac
2. Lamp: T3-1/4 miniature bayonet
3. Momentary Switch: Contacts (N.O.) rated 3a at 125vac, 3a at 125vac

**broken link removed** where I got the setup information for the wiring. The one on that site is using 4 AA batteries.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
