i have a temperature sensing project,its idea is interfacing between adc0804, pic16f877a, serial port.
i have problems with the programming code of the pic,and i need an urgent help.

do you will use uart to interface with the pc ?
or you interface directly from the pic to the pc

are you crazy you use pic16f877a with its prephirals and finally use an external adc why ?

i am a student and this is an optional project, it is required to use an external adc, and finally interface with pc using uart, i tried to learn the microcontroller programming myself, but still can not write the code for this project.
