I am using sealed Lead acid battery 12V, 2.3AH. If battery low circuit is NOT used, it discharged as low as 3V. Is it harmful? should I use low limit protection circuit? if yes, then upto what level?

It it's charged below about 10V the battery will be damaged.

If it's measuring 3V then it needs replacing.

hi,
The recommended discharged voltage is 10.8V.
Recharge at 13.8V for 'float' charge or 14V for fast recharge.
