Schmitt trigger input with cmos level

i do not understand what does schmitt trigger input with cmos level. what exactly is this? Please advise.

CMOS logic level is nominally 1/2 the supply voltage.
Schmitt trigger means the logic level going high is greater than the logic level going low.
This minimizes circuit oscillations if the logic level transition is slow or multiple triggers if there's a small amount of noise on the signal.
