Schematic to build a 4ma-20ma supply

The attached will provide from just below 4 mA to about 22 mA. It is simple and quick. I used a 2N2222 but any of several NPN simple transistors would work as well as any single supply basic op amp. The pot in the attached is set to about 50% of range. When possible I like to use a 10 turn pot. This should work as a quick simple temporary solution.
