Two-wire (I2C) Serial EEPROM has maximum clock rate at about 400kHz. Maybe it could be fast enough for 8-bit mono audio sampled at 8kHz..

Better go with SD card or an EEPROM with SPI interface.

Are you actually expecting members of the forum to write down specs and code for your hobby-project? Download a datasheet of some EEPROM memory and do the math. Speech bandwidth is about 200Hz to 3.2kHz.
