Please I have a Samsung tv that go off when connected to HDMI or AV of divider but remain on when not connected what could be the issue with the tv. Please help

Maybe start a new thread with more details such as model number etc rather than bumping a 7 year old thread !

Sounds like the decoder is the issue, not the TV.

How old is the tv, would you mind providing as the model so we can help you further. Have you tried to use a spare decoder to see if there will be any problems?
