running a motor through a small signal taken from led?

hi.. actually i am trying to run a motor of 3 watt using a power supply that was fed to an LED of a very small wattage, for this i need some advices about the amplifier i must use ........
is there any other way ?
i think Darlington pair must be used but can not manufacture it .......
 
Yes you need a buffer.

I would just connect the LED in series with the transistor's base, providing it can handle the extra 0.6V drop.

What voltage is the motor?

What current is flowing through the LED?

Why can't you build a Darlington?
