Rotating tie rack.

For a school project, basically I need help on how to reverse a motor. The motor will be driving a gear train which drives the belt, rotating the ties.

I want an option to rotate the other way, using a switch. Two will be used, one to turn left and one to turn right.

My question is: How can i reverse the motor in this way?

We'll need more information about the motor itself along with the power etc... possibly all you need is dpdt switch.

A simple DPDT toggle switch will do want you want.
