Can anyone tell me if wiegand and net2 are actually RFID protocols, or is it just the comms protocol from a tag reader to a microntroller.
I have a 125khz RFID reader, and a 13.56mhz reader, but non recognize these tags:

I found out some more details.
Net 2 is also known as Ms and Hitag2 as far as I can tell.
Hitag is the system used by car manufacturers for the ignition transponder, and has a high level of security.
Interestingly I found 2 items, one a arduino libary for a ibtechnology Rwd hitag 2 reader (now obsolete), and a rf solutions Rwd hitag2 reader, I'm a thinkin that the 2 are the same thing.

The lib looks like it only uses the Uid not the memory area, but that'll do for me, the rf solutions board is 12 quid.
Took a while googling.
