Remote control

Hi surfer,

I am planning to build an remote watering for garden plants and automatic food feeding/lighting system for fish pond outdoor which using computer parallel port and controlled through internet. Anybody can advise me ? thanks a lot.

It is more easier to do it with micocontroller with internet option. If you are using computer parallel port, u must know the distance of your outdoor fish pond or plants from your computer,because parallel port will have cable length limitation.

I just recommend a website www.geocities.com/bagtool/io_activex.html or www.geocities.com/bagtool/adc_activex.html from my friend, may be it will be a help or a suggestion to you.
