Since RB6 and RB7 are used for programming, but can I still use them If the programmer isnt in the circuit? Or are they dedicated to programming even if they arent being used for programming?
You can use them even while the programmer is attached. I have a circuit which uses port B to control the data lines of a GLCD. I just place 1k resistors in the programming connections and it all works fine. You cannot debug with this setup.
