Hi sir,
I m currently working on a project named "GSM E-LOCK".
I mean interfacing the GSM module to the electronic lock using PIC16F877 for security purpose.So end user will be provided with sms sevices which is abt the door accessin.pls help me out how this will work.And let me know what all initial steps i need to carry on.

Easy way:
Have a list of valid phone numbers and "lock" and "unlock" commands or use a PIN. Make Reset physical. PIN requires a way to change it.

Complicatons add logging.
Temporary one use codes or codes that are valid at certain times.
Do a search on "building access control"
