project temperature sensor controller

help desgning temperature sensor controller

i want to design temperature sensor controller which will be connected to the PC trainer then will run MASm program in such when temperature is getting to certain level will send infomation to the port selected then alarm will buzz.
have 8255 chip, temperature sensor and ADC. Please help me what need to be done!!!

What temperature range do you want to measure, first and foremost?...

What type of temperature sensor are you using, thermocouple, LM35? Something else?

was thinking to use TMP37 which it has temp range of 5-100 centi-grade
