I was finally able to get the W1209 temp sensor working
where it activates my heating element at a certain temp, then turns it off at a different certain temp - YAY!

my question now is.. how do I add an on/off switch to control power from my power supply to the W1209 unit?

I bought some 2-pin rocker switches, but as I was playing around with them, it seemed like something is missing in the circuit.

cut the red (+) power supply wire and patch this in to that gap. Place the red wire of your switch to the end of the wire closer to the supply and the black wire closer to your load.
