I want to ask something , after i build a programmer p16pro40 how can i program the PIC i mean how can i convert asm file into hex file then enter the program into pic.
to go from assembly to hex you use an assembler... such as MPASM from microchip, which is included with their MPLAB development environment, which you may find useful for developing your code.
to get the hex into the PIC you use programming software with your programmer. people on here who use that programmer can tell you what software to use.
