Hi

I wanted to know if there are some really good popular science books on electronics which tend to explain difficult concepts extensively. Some days ago my friend gave me the following e-books. I have only read two or three pages of each. Do you think these are good ones? Would you like to recommend some other one? Thank you.

Teach Yourself Electricity and Electronics, Stan Gibilisco
All New Electronics Self-Teaching Guide (Wiley Self Teaching Guides)
Make: Electronics (Learning by Discovery), Charles Platt

You don't explain your background or education, so it's hard to be specific. I tell most folks who have all or part of an engineering/science type background that if they want to learn some electronics, "The Art of Electronics" is one of the best single books around to teach yourself.
