A ameal New Member Dec 10, 2009 #3 just a thought, but i think you should check it. it seems to me that the configuration of the amp-op is non-inverting, with gain of 2. it would give an output of 6,6v, if it had high enough Vdd.

Mr RB Well-Known Member Dec 11, 2009 #4 And Q5 is wrong. You should really stick to a diode for that job, 1N4148 are less than a cent each and is probably the most common diode on the planet.
