PIC16F877/16F88..ADC with UART

Dear All,
I am basically a hobbyist of electronics. For the last week I have been playing with PIC 16F877 and 16F88, mainly using assembly language.
I have trying to assimilate ADC with the UART module, mainly trying to exhibit the input analog voltage, on the hyper terminal(later may be be on a LCD).
Can anybody have any idea on this sort of project ?
