Please, can anyone help with a pdf of The digital tacho project in Silicon Chip April 2000?
The silverfish have got to my copy of the magazine.
Thanks

I'm sure there are plenty of examples on the web
You should look into using the PIC16F628A though, it is a more modern chip.

We still can't post copy-written material to the forums. The OP can contact Silicon Chip and ask them if they will provide a free copy. Who buys paper magazines anymore anyway.

Thanks anyway, but I wanted that article because I built it before but the tacho was sold with the old car. I know the beast does exactly what I want AND I have most of the bits in the junkbox.
