Pic Development Board - uk

I notice there have been a few development boards passed from member to member on here, I'm looking for one of these to help me in my quest to learn more on the PIC Micro, Ideally I would like something that can handle 8 - 40 pin devices.

Has anyone got one of these spare and going cheap? I am short of cash at the moment (Just after Xmas) but I am not just looking for a freebie.
