I am building a motion operated camera and want to use a 'driveway alert' set that I have. Can I simply remove the peizo speaker from the circuit or should I replace it with something else that is silent? Thanks.
If I understand your question, the circuit is probably not dependent on the piezo speaker for correct operation. It should not be necessary to put something passive in its place when you remove it.
