I can't wait to see how you would modify a printer to accept a rigid board... they run it through all kinds of drums.
Look up the laser printing process first. As I recall, it uses a photosensitive roller (which can't be exposed to a lot of bright light), a corona discharge rail, and toner transfer. I'd be fascinated to see how it could be done to a PCB, because I don't see how it's possible.
You do know they make PCB transfer sheets, right? The printer ink will stick to it until you transfer it onto the PCB. Never used it myself, I just photoetch.
