Hi, I see that in the description for the package footprints, they talk about the grid, what does it signify? e.g. : "Small outline integrated circuit. Grid: 150 mils"
Another quick question: is there a difference between SO and SOIC? e.g. : SO-16 & SOIC-16?
Thanks

Hi. I'm not entirely sure but I think so-16 can be thought as short hand for soic-16? and the grid 150 mil's has something to do with the grid setting on your pcb design software.

I could do with someone confirming this though

:)
