Hi all,

I have designed the buck switching power supply design from TI web bench which gives 5V , 6amp When i Tested this circuity over PCB board it gives 5v but it does not give current more than 1 amps.
I Tested the same circuitry on general purpose board setup and i got 5v , 6 amps of current.

Can anyone say whats wrongs in my PCB board?? Is that a PCB track problem?

1.components values and design used in both the case are same.

hi,
An image of the PCB artwork would be helpful, or photo's of the PCB.

I don't have a crystal ball either so the schematic as well as the pictures of the working and non working PCBs would give members some chance of solving your problem.

If your traces are <1/8" or <3mm for 2 oz copper, then add jumper magnet wire.

Solder burns thru magnet wire insulation, but solder Tin both ends first.
