I am not so good at this part of engineering, and this instance takes the cake to start with.
Anyone know the best way to find a substitute manufacturer in the United States for this connector:
It is made by Maojwei, the current actual part numbers are 18M-8A and 18M-8E. I have not been successful in finding a distributor in the United States, so I am trying to find a substitute for the connector that is available in the US.
Any help would be appreciated.
P.S. As it is a replacement for a connector that broke while in use, it must be a direct replacement. Using something that does not mount identically is not an option. Though, it could be reduced to as little as 3 pins (only 3 of the 8 are in use).
