p16f88, where is sspcon2??

I am working on some i2c routines done with hardware on a 16f88. Am I going crazy or is there no sspcon2 register on this chip? How can hardware, master mode i2c be accomplished without this register? Thanks


Edit: Found that the 16f88 has limited master mode support through hardware ssp, time to switch to 877a

It can't; the I2C mode in the 16F88 is hardware slave, you can do it in firmware though.
