Hi,
In UK, USA and EU, are there any applications whatsoever where an offline SMPS >75W does not need a PFC stage?
Eg some "maximum of 1 copy per hour" photocopiers dont need a PFC stage because they are programmed to only do
a maximum of one photocopy per hour, and so most of the time their power draw is well under 75W....more like 1W.
However when they are actually copying they draw 300W for some 10 seconds.
