Newbie need help with PIC18F4431

Hi all,

I have a little experience with programming when I was doing my undergrad, but I have never used a PIC board before, hope someone could help me. I am planning to use the PIC18F4431 to read input from a keypad(scankeypad).

I hope anyone who have the code for running the keypad using a pic would post it here.
