Need To Order New Capacitor But Not Sure What Label Means

Hi all,

See attached image. I am trying to replace one of the capacitors on the circuit board, and the capacitor has the following on top of it: C1 330V UD

I have tried to Google using that information, but I cannot seem to find a link to where I can order another one of those capacitors. I saw one listed on eBay here but it shows S2 instead of C1 on top of the capacitor: **broken link removed**

Does the C1 or S2 mean anything?

You just need to find a Nichicon datasheet.

According to the datasheet, 330 v is 330uF 35volt working.
V = 35 volts.

The C1 and S2 is just the lot number.

Yes very, so is the Lot number (C1) just letting you know where it was made? Does it really mean anything important?

Not to the average user of capacitors it doesn't.
But if you needed to trace when it was made, yes it would be important.
