need to generate a 120volt pulse

hi

i need to trigger the coil of a latching relay with 120volt pulse the latching relay is controled by elapse timer spdt i tryed useing 2nd relay sending 120v to its coil and com. terminal and takeing 120v pulse ? from the nc contact < to short > need 1/4-1/2 second is there a way to delay the 2nd relay or should i do this different
