Hey guys, I have a small project in mind, and a part of it requires a bunch of LED's to light up.......I'll be connecting about six jumbo LED's to create a meter.....here's where my problem starts......I'll be connecting all those 6 LED's to my car battery. I've measured the voltage of my car battery, and on idle, its putting out around 12 volts. When I rev past 1500RPM, the voltage jumps to 14 volts.....I was wondering what I would need in my circuit other than an LED and a resistor to control the voltage.....basically I want the 1st two LED's to light up on 12 volts, the 2nd two to light up on 13 volts, and the last two to light up at 14 volts.....so what would I need to control the voltage if the wire will be hooked up directly to the car battery?
