Need some NE556 Help

Okay I'm working on Version 2.0 of my circuit, using a NE556 timer IC.

Now what i like to try and figure out is how to get the Delayed On circuit to reset without shutting down the Delayed off circuit?
Basics:
* The Delayed On Circuit just delays output #2 from triggering at the same time as #1
* The Delayed Off Circuit just keeps output #3 Grounded for awhile after Input 1 shuts off

What i would like to know is how do I modify the the Delay on circuit so it's Triggered by what's happening on Input #1? when input 1 is grounded the timer starts, when the ground is removed from input 1, the timer is reset and shuts down output 2.

Hello and thank-you for the reply.

What i like to see happen.

1) When Input #1 goes low it delays Output #2 for X-number of seconds, If both Input #1 and #2 go low at the same time (to reduce the sudden load of both turning on at the same time)
2) When Input #1 goes High (shuts off) i like it to Rest the timer circuit and in turn shut off output #2
3) When Input #1 turns on again, it allows the Timer to start up again delaying the signal to output #2

In a Transistor version (which is on this site) It was easy to setup the timer feature to turn on/off with the Input #1 Low trigger, and having Input #2 going to the emitter of the TIP122 and the Collector to Output #2. But since i'm using a 556 removing the ground (Low) that Input #1 supplies will also shut off the Delayed off half of the 556.

It's still not completely clear to me. Can you generate a simple timing diagram showing all the input versus output sequences that you are talking about?

Sorry for the hand drawn timing diagrams, but hopefully it makes sense? Think of each Square along the being about 2.5 Seconds in length
