I want to connect a pot to my bench atx power supply so i can control the voltage..

I am new to electronics

Without a circuit diagram, it's impossible to know.

It might be possible, but some power supplies can only be adjusted over a limited range.

What range do you want?

Googling "Adjustable ATX supply" gave many hits. Perhaps one of those would work for you.
