Hmm..., don't get why high level output current is negative and low level output current is positive?

Did a little search, the positive means the terminal is sinking current, conversely, negative is saying current is coming out of the terminal which means it is sourcing current.

This is because the industry, by convention, defines the output current as flowing into the output terminal. So a positive value is flowing into the terminal, while a negative value means that current is flowing out of the terminal.

On the TI app note link, find this text on page 33.

JEDEC – The current into the output terminal with input conditions applied that, according to the product specification, establishes a high level at the output.
