need help with servo circuit

What I need to do is measure the load on a analog servo and light an LED if the servo should draw excessive power due to a bind in the control linkage from the servo to a control surface.

The INA169 provides an output voltage that is proportional to the current through the resistor. If the TLC2272 was configured as a Schmitt Trigger, it would give you an output when the current increased above the threshold.

However, you may need a low pass filter or delay to prevent triggering to current spikes. Also, motors usually draw a high current on starting.
