Need help with a voltage rectifier/regulator

Hello,


I have an offroad vehicle that I would like to add a 12VDC charging circuit to. It is currently wired for an alternator. The alternator puts out 15-50 VAC, and I would like to have 13.5 or so VDC output. I am not sure of the current, but I don't think it's more than 10 amps.
