Need help with 24vac controls

The pump start relay is looking for 2 wires from the controller. Above you say to connect it to pin 3, where should the common wire output connect? Does it matter, can it just connect to the 24vac powere supply, since it isnt switched?

If you are using the power from Control Panel # 1 to Connect to pin # 5 on the 2 relays, then you would use that common to connect to the pump relay. One word of caution though; Make sure that the controller will handle the pilot relay as well as the pump relay.
