identifying solder point for external antenna

here is the circuit board for receiver for my terrible logitech wireless keyboard/mouse . I see the integrated antenna but it seems like it's not hooked up to me. if it were, I'd solder the external antenna to that point and cut the trace after it. unfortunately I need some help. I'll attach some high res pictures. Thanks... i'm going to use an old router antenna, or maybe it'll work as advertised if I can just hook up that
antenna trace, But to where, pin 7-8 of that IC???

P.S. 27Mhz

Ok, So I held the circuit up to a bright light and can see where the antenna (I'm assuming thats what it is) is hooked up.

So I'll solder to the start and ground my antenna somewhere else then cut the antenna trace, any feedback???

Nevermind, I messed those diagrams up a bit.... What I thought was the start is obviously a dead end also since there IS NO U3!!! So where IS the "Thingamajig" for receiving RF on this circuit???? I have a basic knowlege of electronics, but this is seriously becoming a time vampire. I can't seem to find an antenna.I mean I found an antenna but it's hooked to NOTHING...

P.S. FIXED the drawings

did you ever figure anything out? Im trying to do the same on my Mx700 logitech reciever. The board looks different than yours but the antenna on mine comes to a dead end as well. I tried running a big loop of wire connected to both ends of the original antenna on the board but didnt help much. Might have gained 6 inches in range. Right now i only get about 3 feet of range.
