I dunno, what kind are you going to use?
What do you have to telemeter, an analog baseband signal, or a digitized data stream?
What bandwidth is required for each method, above?
How far do you want to transmit it?
How big can the antennas be?
What are the battery sizes?
What are the legalities of using the radio spectrum to transmit?
What other use is already being made of the frequencies?
Will that cause interference to your application?
How much can it cost?
And about another 100 "specs" you need to define before starting any design project...
