This is for my school project.
So, I got my 74190 counter shows number like this 9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1-0-5-4-3-2-1-0-5-4-3-2-1-0-5-4-3-2-1-0 and so on.

My questions: (1.) What can I do to change the output count down into 5-4-3-2-1-0-5-4-3-2-1-0 and so on
(2.) When it changes 0 into 5 it moves so fast. How could I fix this one?

Please. I'm stuck at this one. Any kind of help would be appreciated.

Can you clarify the switches please. I'm assuming you step through the numbers manually using S1 ... and S3 is to reset it ?

If that is the case ... you probably need some debounce components at least on S1 to start with ... even just try a small value capacitor.
