over 1.7 million hits, too many to be any use.
by EM i am going to guess you mean electro-magnetism.
You want to express electro-magnetism in simple terms?
Some aspects of electro-magnetism can be described
in simple terms, but the overall picture is more than
just a conglomerate of such illustrations.
If you ignore the hysteresis of the metal, and the
resistance effects on windings, then a simple expression
of more current, more magnetism could be visualised.
Likewise a simple expression of more turns more
magnetism.
But magnetism isn't just associated with windings and
number of turns, it occurs around any current flow,
even a single conductor will have a magnetic field when
carrying a current.
For magnetism to generate electricity, there has to be
movement involved. In the case of a transformer its the
magnetic field which moves, as it rises and falls, and
changes direction, currents are induced in the windings.
Electro-magnetism and its associated effects are quite
an involved study, i don't think it can easily be boiled
down to a few simple terms.
The equations for electron flow and magnetic field
strength, and also for induced currents from equations
having number of conductors, direction of movement etc
can all be found on the internet.
If there is a particular aspect of E.M. that you are
interested in, please post and someone will try to
express it in simple terms for you.
