Hello Guys,
I have been working on a boost converter to convert 3.7V to 5V supply. I have been using a MCP1640 for the same. But recently I came across a new chip from Aerosemi (maybe that is not new, but I came across it recently). It is MT3608. The datasheet is not that great and does not claim a tested product. The advantage of this chip is that it claims to be able to supply greater current (2A and the efficiency is 92%).
Has anybody used it and if not can anybody please see the datasheet and check whether this would be a better product as a USB power supply than a MCP1640?
