motor speed problem

today i just working on LFR (just to fill time )
but the motor is moving too fast
it make my Lfr lost from the line
i not use microcontroller
the motor is 12vdc
is there a way to slowing it ?
(sorry , wrong trhead , i forget )

I would say Line-Following-Robot at least once in your question so people don't get lost when you say LFR
You could:
Gear the motor down
Lower the motor voltage (might not spin at all then though if too low)
Implement some form of PWM
Add some form of drag, maybe via friction or weight.
