Motor Control

I am looking for some guidance on controling a small Induction motor 100V/50-60hz/.8amp in both directions for 30 seconds each.

This issue is that the machine I have uses a 1 RPM syncronis motor with a cam switch, 2 relays and 2 1 sec delay modules....to rotate the real motor. The sequence is 30 sec clockwise - 1 sec delay - then 30 CCW - 1 sec delay. The total number of cycles and power is driven by a timer that I turn for whatever amount of time I want to run.

There is an external 10uF cap on the motor mount connected to the 'nutural wire'. and 3 additional wires (Black, Blue and Yellow). (Motor model is Oriental Motor 5IK40GN if it helps).

The rating at the relays, switches, delays and motor are 100V. Normal house Power comes to a rotery timer/power switch...before the relays/motor/etc. I want to replace the replays, cam switch and delay module with a small circuit...It appears very basic, (I am old, but new at the design and build a circuit arena). Any help would be appreciated. Any pointers on where to start?? Would it be too complicated? Ideas?

Thanks,
Tom
