Motherboard problem help

Hi Pls help me my laptop motherboard is coming up but cant display on the screen.If i remove the processor,it will be blinking yellow light showing absence of processor,and if i put the processor back,it will blink green light showing presence of processor.I have tested the processor,RAM,and the screen with another system of exact type and they are working perfect.Pls is there any thing that i can do to make the motherboard to be coming up.

do you mean that the computer starts (fans start and lights on) but nothing is displayed or that they motherboard splash screen appears but after that it blanks out?

I had the same problem with a laptop turned out to be the motherboard had gone but sometimes its the graphics :(
 
borrow a videocard designed to fit into one of the expansion slots and install it. Boot the PC and see of you get an image, You may need to set the BIOS to recognize the PCI slot instead of the internal video.
 
Whoops! I just reread this thread and noticed you have a laptop... here I was thinking a tower unit. Make sure the laptop's display is not set to EXTERNAL DISPLAY (the 15-pin sub-D connector usually on rear panel). It could be activated by using one of the FUNCTION keys.
It would be helpful if you provided a brand name and model number of your laptop. We're not mind readers here.
