Measure resistance with a PIC

hi Peter,

From the quick look I had at the XY matrix, it shows that the problems caused by 'sneak' paths thru the matrix would rule it out as an option.

Perhaps another member might have a better solution.

With regard to the analog switches ON/OFF resistances, these could be greatly reduced by operating the analog gates with a +15V supply rail.

Use 74LS07's between the PIC and the analog gates as a level shifter.

An advantage with the circuit in the drawing is that you could have 8 different sensor zones, using the 8 ADC inputs on the PIC, calibrated to cover different pressure ranges.
