I am using a PIC18F46K22 as a master and a PIC18F45K22 as a slave. When I send a read request to the slave it produces an interrupt and sets the SSP1STAT R_nW bit on the slave, but what I am confused about is if the SSP1STAT D_nA bit is set by hardware or do I set in the software?
