I am currently using an MCP2515 CAN controller for use over an internal can bus on my pcb that interfaces with several 'nodes' and on the other side talks to a micro over spi. however im getting a problem where im losing messages due to the small size of the receive buffer. Can anyone suggest an alternative that has a FIFO receive buffer yet still be able to talk spi and be a standalone controller, not a micro where i need to write more code for it?
